The exhibition DAS INNERE (THE INTERIOR) began in July 2025 with a fleeting intervention: every two weeks, the plants and surfaces in front of the Kulturdrogerie are covered in sugar.
For the opening on Wednesday, 15 October, the collective will expand the exhibition to include additional architectural elements and a pot filled with shells.
The title of the exhibition refers to a fragmentary quote from the book ‘The Poetics of Space’ by French philosopher Gaston Bachelard: ‘Let the finger that touches the inner mother-of-pearl dreamingly …’.
With DAS INNERE, the Mother Of Pearl collective links its own work with the architecture of the Kulturdrogerie.
